DO I RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE?

Yes you will receive certification that you have attended, completed and passed the course of choice (subject to passing of course!)

DO YOU OFFER FINANCE?

ARE THE COURSES ACCREDITED?

Absolutely, all of our courses here at The Academy are fully accredited through the CPD program alongside being verified fit for purpose by professionals in each industry we educate within and local authorities.

WHERE WILL THE COURSES BE HELD?

Our venue in Northern Ireland is 2c Hightown Road, Glengormley BT367UA. All information will be provided on directions, accommodation etc after you book with us!

SHOULD I BRING ANYTHING WITH ME TO THE COURSE?

Just a prepared version of yourself who is ready to learn and grow! Should you have any questions in relation to further materials, please just send us a message, email or give The Academy a call on 02890 219078 (option 2). We will be more than happy to help - apart from that, we are able to provide everything else.

HOW DO I PAY?

Right now, we are in a fortunate position to take deposits months in advance for all of our courses which will be stored securely and the remaining balance will be due 14 days before the course begins. Other than the deposit option, should you like to discuss any other methods of financing a course with The Academy, we are always more than happy to help when possible.

IS MY DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?

After booking, should you change your mind at all, we are happy to move your spot to another course date or completely different course. However, deposits are transferrable but not refundable. We do try to accommodate our trainees as best as we can but this may not always be be possible. Please give us as much notive as possible should you need to move dates or cancel training as others are always asking to join

IS THERE PARKING NEARBY?

Yes there is paid parking available very close to us. We are also on a major bus route should you wish to use public transport instead.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED TO ATTEND THE TATTOO COURSE?

We ask that all participants have a basic active interest in art, drawing or design. We understand there will be students of differing abilities and this will directly correlate with their ability within tattooing. We aim to teach the fundamental techniques associated with tattooing as detailed in the course material however will of course encourage the student to develop their ability outside and inside of the classroom.

CAN I START WORKING RIGHT AFTER A COURSE?

Once you have completed a course at The Academy, we are happy to advise that you are absolutely able to develop a career within your chosen industry. We have had students go on to work in tattoo studios, piercing studios, beauty salons along with other students choosing to open their own locations successfully after completing the course.

DO I GET A BREAK DURING THE COURSES?

Of course you can! All of our courses have a set agenda which always contains plenty of room for discussion and breaks whilst ensuring course material is delivered in a timely and effective manner.

CAN I GET A JOB AT THE ACADEMY AFTERWARDS?

On many occasions we have provided a place to work for many of our students until they decide to move on further than The Academy and our network of studios throughout the country. We have fantastic connections within our industries up and down the country so sourcing a place of work when needed for our students typically isn't terribly hard for us and is something we would be delighted to assist with.

WHEN IS THE REMAINING BALANCE DUE BEFORE A COURSE?

We ask that any outstanding balance which is left before the start of a course after paying a deposit would be paid 14 days before the course begins. You can pay any outstanding balance by visiting our 'Pay outstanding balance' page and typing in your remaining balance - then just proceed through to checkout as you would normally. If you have any issues with this, please get in touch with The Academy via social media, email or call. We also are excited to provide finance options for you to help spread the cost!

WHERE CAN I STAY DURING THE COURSE?

As we have many people travel from far and wide to partake in The Academy courses, we have fantastic relationships with local hotels. If you are attending our courses, our preferred hotel partners are; The Lansdowne Hotel (0.6m away), Citi North (2.1m away) & Travelodge Belfast Centre (5.3m away but in Belfast City Centre). If you contact any of our partners and let them know you are staying to attend a course at The Academy, they will be able to provide a stay with discount attached to it.
